100 Year Plan is a multidisciplinary performance project by Emotional.Store. Set to probe our physically and virtually hybridized minds in the midst of automation takeover, 100 Year Plan combines livestream performance, prerecorded videos, songs, websites and wearables into an abstract story of two creatives who put everything into a path for digital success.
A live-cinema experience, 100 Year Plan is a dystopian response to participating in the creator economy. In consideration of the overlaps faced by both artists and content producers of all kinds, 100 Year Plan comically and critically explores how the performance of the self is intertwined with shifts in the economic, technical and cultural structures of our time.
Emotional.Store is the collaborative duo of artists Scotty Wagner and Bailey Hikawa. They create large scale, multimedia projects that explore the newly forming collective consciousness brought about by the union of the physical with the virtual, and the onset of obsolescence. Through comedic storytelling, magical language, and technological seduction, Emotional.store projects weave audience members through a viscerally weird conversation around the interplay between systems that drive technological progress and the phenomenology of engagement in a digitally and physically hybridized world.

Tech View and Requirements
The “100 Year Plan” set includes:
+ Modular backdrop system
+ Wireless Mics
+ Desktop computer
+ Folding Table
+ Projection Screen
+ Costumes and Props
The work requires house PA speakers and ample electrical access.
A staging area of approximately 20’ by 30’ is preferred, but the modular system can easily work within tighter limits.
